We have Internet in the school
Today, Monica has sent an e-mail by connecting to the Internet from school!
On days when I was in Padum the school should have waited for the engineer who installed the dish for the Internet connection.
They made it, now Monica has sent the news by sending an email to everyone.
's really a good step forward.
Internet will be 'available to the principal, teachers and students of the last two classes, IX and X. Sara
'more' easy to communicate!

How Long Will Mayo Packets Last
The difficult road to Zanskar
how difficult it is to get in and start to return to Zanskar Leh always understand when you finally overcome all the difficulties' and all the critical points, we arrive at the destination.
Every time you set foot ground unconsciously emit a sigh of relief.
To return to Leh on the advice of Sonam and his valuable help and reassurance we started with a jeep at 4 am.
Better pass the Wall '(one step more' high and demanding) at the 'soon. Better still not over it when it's hot 'cause the heat melts the snow, the streams swell, forming holes and cracks are difficult to overcome and could block the road. You 'cause there are not always the bridges, streams and rivers almost always lead down crossing the street and if the water is' such as this year, can be difficult to overcome.
Well let's start at 4. Sonam comes to meet us at the Mont Blanc and with the help of headlamps load luggage, tired and we settle on hard seats. Again I have to say goodbye to the valley of Zanskar, a mixture of sadness, happiness 'and melancholy gives me' an empty feeling in my stomach. At the wheel of twenty-six Stanzino Punchok Tungri that will prove 'a great driver.
Heaven and 'still black and starry, but the windows are already' all lit up, light and generally 'provided by solar panels. The Zanskar pa rise very early in the morning.
Padum individual on the right just outside the lights of the gompa Pibiting, Karsha lights scattered on the mountainside, as we pass through the villages of the valley. I look at everything with the eye of those who do not want to lose anything, for those seeking a hold of those who tries to recognize a village, a house, something to keep me still tied to the valley and its people. Zanskar
I leave a flower-filled than I had ever seen, full of water, even too much this year.
fields of barley is still too green to be in the middle 'in July, the season and' very late, and the winter 'was particularly hard and long, who knows' if the short summer will be' enough to ripen the barley?
the edge of the field flowers of all colors, purple, yellow, white, large wild rose bushes are still blooming everywhere among the rocks, the air he breathes a sweet perfume. Gia 'dream what' I've lived, but after an hour's drive a lot less sweet scent brings me back to reality ': A large stinks. The driver stopped, opened the hood, and 'still dark. No problem, back in the car and the engine restarts. Hopefully. Latest
villages, the police station and go to the pass. There are many rivers to cross with bated breath. The jeep stops for a moment, does not seem to do it, then starts swinging a bit dangerous' times, like a tractor than the hole, the mighty water and resumed the road.
At 9 o'clock we stopped for breakfast Rangdom, have already passed '5 hour drive and we did maybe a hundred kilometers. Let's continue our journey, still water, badly damaged road sections alternate with sections less demanding stretches of flat road at times tortuous alternate on the edge of precipices impressive. We reach the valley of the Suru, green. the roar of the swollen river accompanies our travel. The stretch of road that runs the height of the water and 'already' partly flooded.
We'll stop for lunch in one of the dirty and bad restaurants of Sankoo, the alternative would be to Kargil, but we want to avoid it being blocked and not be forced to change car and driver .. We share. We are able to meet and exceed free Kargil. Our taxi is not blocked. Cross the bridge and after 14 hours of travel punctuated by a couple of stops we finally reach Mulbek to spend the night in a guest house.
The worst seems past, but not 'so'. From Mulbek on the road and 'better, sometimes even well-paved, but work in progress are many and often must wait in line between the trucks and dust that the means will release the track. The 'means' human arms that are often live and work on the roadside breaking stones by hand and moving. They live with their families in small tents, women with children work more 'little tied back, the more' grown-ups play among dust and exhaust fumes. As we passed the rise Smilies opaque and greet with gray hands, smiling.
I think there is anything else to say, or maybe 'to see, because it' s difficult to explain under what conditions these people live.
Leh finally comes after about 9 hours away. Two days full, and all 'went smoothly, we had no major problems. The obstacles and difficulties' have been overcome by our driver brilliantly and without great loss of time.
Some fears for daring overtaking and stopping at the edges of precipices to pass columns of trucks are normally part of the trip.

If You Dvr A Show Does It Count Toward Ratings
Delivery shoes and meetings with women
For two or three days we were completely isolated, the Internet will not work 'worked the phones.
Sunday afternoon we went to ShilaPu, beautiful trek. The path of course difficult, given the altitude, and not 'was terrible,' but was a bit 's a bit hard to cross the River.
This year there 'lots of water and cross the river barefoot it seemed very dangerous, so 'we have chosen to overcome some of the rocks and reach a small bridge made of wooden poles on which were placed flat stones, and' was difficult, but we did it.
We stayed with a family night and we slept on the roof of the house.
on a roof top of the world!
A sky full of stars, the fresh mountain air that caresses and the sound of the river that we rocked. An unforgettable night.
The family has cuddled a lot, at 6 o'clock in the morning came to take tea. It was beautiful. We came back to Padum
Monday 'morning. As we went along to greet Sonam, we met his grandson (the son of his daughter) 2 ½ months, newborn, nice and round Paciocco.
At two we went to school, I gave some kids the letters of the Italian sponsors, then we delivered the shoes to class VIII.
At 4 we had an appointment with the women of the association, we have seen in their laboratory, we talked about many things: what 'they have done, of what' they would like to do. The knitting machine and 'arrived, went to the women themselves to take it to Leh, time and' a house of Padma, must find a niche in the small laboratory.
Last winter they could only do a course in adult literacy, because it 's been a particularly hard winter and you could not even move from one village to another. The course was 'obliged to Abram in April and May, before and' have been impossible.
for next winter are expected two.
6 o'clock I looked in vain for an Internet point. I packed my bags and evening we were guests of women.
They prepared the momo, we ate sang and danced.
I had to greet them a bit 'soon,' cause the departure was scheduled at 4 am. The president had already 'known years ago, handing the kata has asked me to come back and write e-mail from Italy and to make known their association, even our own, since I too am a member of the Women's Association Zanskar !
At 4 o'clock in the morning and 'got the jeep and Sonam and' failed to ensure that everything was fine. We told him to leave soon, very soon, 'cause there could be problems. In fact, the abundant snow fall was still very low and the heat in recent days has melted a lot of swelling rivers.
His booming voice gave us good morning and goodbye, too.
We started late at night. All silent.
I filled her eyes with the outlines of the mountains, with the lights on in every home. Life starts early in Zanskar between 4 and 5 in the morning are already 'all in motion, we must use all the daylight hours.

It' s almost one o'clock, but I have tells the scene this morning.
unveiled to me about 5 ping of a bucket that squeaks. I look (and read the 'ground-height window) I see a black cow suckling her calf, an elderly woman with braids and traditional Gonchar comes with a bucket and puts it in front of the muzzle of the cow. It comes and goes more 'times of the stable carrying cow dung to dry in the sun, a little calf' recalcitrant is removed from the mother, the woman sccarezza the back of the cow most 'times, charging the basket on his shoulder and walks away dragging the cow. Skip next to a jeep green metallic dark, tinted windows and flashing orange.
The woman lives in the guest house I am staying with Mont Blanc, and 'probably the mother of Tashi Punchok. Punchok Tashi and 'the owner of the off-road metal, studied now has an important job in the government of the region. His wife and 'one of the first students of our school, she studied her. They have three children, one of whom attended the LMHS. Strides in this remote desert valley!

Difference Between King And Super King
delivery of mail and shoes
This morning I'm alone, I went to the puja at the new monastery Padum then I came back, the other went to Franco and Gabri Karsha and to know the family of the godchild. Of the two
an Internet point was discarded and the other was closed, but Padum is always a solution. As usual, and even unique, cross the main street I met Dawa, a teacher at our school. A chat, I told him that I needed Internet and readily accompanied me to the Internet point of government. Here I am.
I had a letter from a former student to be delivered by Walter and Joan of Turin, it was not known if he or Padum to Leh. I asked Sonam and told me that I could deliver the letter to Padma so 'I discovered that the girl and' his niece that I know very well, l-'avevo view two years ago when still at the X. It was at the house of Padma and I delivered the letter personally.
The other letters I have delivered to Eliane at the moment, but Monday 'two o'clock I should be able to see the children (also to Bea) to deliver their letters and also begin to deliver the shoes. Sunday I go to Shila Pu, but I'll be 'back on Monday' morning in time for delivery.

The start and greetings in Arrived
Here I am in the car. Everything 'was loaded and we left at 5.40. I greeted my fellow travelers who are leaving today for Italy. At the last moment Barbara gave me a packet of pencils and Fabiola a beautiful winter jacket to wear in Zanskar. Emotions. The food donated by my friends Travel is arranged in two cardboard boxes. Will be useful. Thank you all.
Thanks to Meg that perhaps will enter 'in the association, thanks to Silvia, Marco, Mauro. . . at all. They were very generous. The driver
Javet driving. Gabriella Franco, Cinzia and me.
Road to Nimmu, interruptions, dust, women walking along the street with Gonchar waving, wind, dust, Basgo, old road to Lamjuru, The fotula 'Namikala the' Kargil.
Breaks jump buffeting. Wind dust.
Change of car in Kargil and the road to Rangdom, the cabinet in the majestic valley of Zanskar made even more 'beautiful from the abundant snow and by recent rains. The valley is so 'green and populated animals I had ever seen. Truly amazing!

Diagram Of French Kissing
Go Zanskar is not 'never normal. There are always obstacles and randomness 'resolve to meet them and other obstacles, small and great difficulty' to overcome. After
be able to speak to Sonam Targhey I contacted, his aide and after I met the scenes from Abu Palace hotel where I lodged.
agreed to rent the jeep and payment We meet at 5:30 to go 14 days to load the shoes that are at the office of Mehraj. Everything seems normal but it is not 'so'. The next day
Targhey smiling back at the hotel and tells me that Padma has learned from Sonam we leave only 14 and would need a big favor: to recover a stock of costumes that are for the school party that takes place on 16, call Padma. The costumes are with his family in Choglamsar. We study a bit 'situation:
1. The driver must stay with us at the moment is not 'traceable and does not know where our hotel in Leh.
2. We have to go Choglamshar to load the bags of Padma
3. We have to go load shoes
4. We must start early because it 's necessary to reach Padum 15, the costumes are designed for 16.
We arrive at this solution: give us two appointments. O Targhey tracking our driver immediately, and Choglamsar goes back to the hotel tomorrow morning at 7.30 or 5 accompanies the driver to our hotel, we go to Choglamsar etc etc. Fortunately
go to port, the first solution.
The driver is located and retrieves the baggage of Padma, the same evening we decided to go to even load shoes, so you immediately start the next morning for the Zanskar. The idea is' good, we gain time. In the evening traffic
Leh we get trouble with 'the office of Mehraj.
It 's impossible to describe the search operation and load shoes.
We are facing three warehouses tightly closed with a gate and a padlock, the shoes are in one of the three, you do not know how. Arriva
Sharma (the sympathetic and caring Nepalese working for Mehraj) with a bunch of keys, and 'almost blind. The first gate opens almost immediately, but it 'goes without saying that shoes are not there'. There are not even in the second.
Sharma tries in vain to open the third gate, the lock is located just above a big cow poop. E 'locked will not open even crying. They try in two, after several attempts finally miracle the lock is released. Open. Having dealt a pair of kicks to the dry side hooks the gate is raised. DARK. Of course, the light does not work and nobody has a flashlight. With the faint light of a cell phone identifies the bags of shoes. They are heavy and surprise .... not two, but three. Incredulous look and covered over, there are measures and numbers. They are all just shoes. Three sacks. Three huge bags. Monica had three loaded then a total of 6 bags of shoes! We hope to do it. But how have they done Ornella Bruno and Luisa, a few years ago when I started with one jeep and three hundred pairs of shoes?

Zanskar Zanskar
Here I am.
I'm still in Leh, I found an almost new computer with internet point, but I do not know what I'll be able 'to write' cause every three minutes I get some strange message, written in Chinese characters, from which I have to go out and continue working.
I try. For
Zanskar leave tomorrow morning. Part of my group wanted to make a trip to Lake Pangong Tso. I rented a jeep and I organized the tour, but given my recent experiences, I'd rather be safe falling in Leh safely before leaving for the Zanskar.
When we returned from the Nubra Valley we were in at the Hotel Abu Palace instead of 'the Larimar. I tried to contact Sonam but I could not talk to him, the phone was switched off. Then I had news of the jeep, it 'I could tell him that I had changed my hotel.
Last night I finally managed to speak to him, was in Zanskar, gave me the telephone number Targey. I called Targey. We procure 'the jeep for tomorrow morning, but we have to change the midst of Kargil. Patience.
Monica and 'game and uploaded three bags of shoes, we are the other two.
So hopefully tomorrow morning we will pass the Hotel Royal Ladak to load shoes and other things to take into Zanskar. Sharma
the friendly Nepalese working with Mehraj assured me that it will be 'ready to help them load the jeep.
Mehraj has taken steps to prepare to make the bags with their shoes tied together and divided by the measure for two pair. We have avoided a great job!
Franco Graziella and Cynthia are doing well and are enthusiastic about the country. The group and 'very good.
We toured beautiful and we saw some areas heavily frequented by tourists. We managed to reach
Mangyur, now there 'a good dirt road and you could get in the jeep, we preferred to walk, pleasant and easy route, you have trouble getting a little' breathing, but return the air smells of wild rose. There are many flowering shrubs in this period! We saw the caves Saspol, I followed the directions me by Mark (Bear), we found an exceptional guide: a schoolgirl of 10 years that took us down the path. E 'liked it at all.
Yesterday we visited the monasteries of Thaktok Chemrey and which generally are not much visited by groups. Interesting both. Chemrey and 'beautiful and easy to reach.
'll write 'from Padum next time?

Labeled Parts Of The Sailboat
leaves tomorrow and Monica ' From Leh
Today I went with the group at the festival of Phyang. Monica should have been in Nubra valley, but almost unrecognizable to cut hair very short I met at the festival. She knew we were going to Phyang and e 'come looking for us. His journey from Manali to Leh and 'was very hard for the bad road conditions and the steps being closed because of snow. E 'come a day late, but' here safe and sound with his two friends.
Mheraj I called and I made an appointment in the shop of his brother Nazir. We were all there: Mheraj, Nazir, Monica, his friends, Franco and Gabriella and myself. With Mheraj we paid the bill for the purchase of shoes and socks. He said he has already 'done to them in the bags divided by size.
Mheraj then accompanied us to buy 300 postcards that Monica will deliver 'school children so that' the scribe sponsor their Italian and French. We talked to Nazir
to buy a dozen scarves to sell at Christmas to raise funds for the school. As has already 'done before we procure Nazir' cashmere scarf at a great price stracciatissimo, he also participates in this way to support our school.
Mheraj and Nazir are Kashmiri Muslims and help the school attended mostly by children Buddhists, I think its a nice gesture.
We could not find the school newspaper in Leh preparing its former students. Monica wanted to buy it to get it to shareholders. We will try to look at Padum. If anyone knows where we can find the law and can 'make a comment or send an email. I try to log in Internet whenever I have a little 'time.
Tonight we have dinner at Dreamland with the group of adventures and Monica. Until next

Until next

Calories In Stir Fry Vegetables
Here I am at Leh. One of the usual Internet point, slow connection and keyboards with buttons unreadable. I feel like I never left. Everything as two years ago or so. I found the shops, the market, people now know, and I feel great to be back home. All I would say and how I left. Only this year I think there are fewer tourists! Adventures With
group (15 people very interested in enthusiastic and fun) I was up to Lamayuru, we made quite a trek up to Wanli and we had the honor of having as a guide Sonam. I had
Sonam contacts it to a jeep, then onward to the Zanskar after finishing around with the group. I asked him to give a guide for the trek and he himself decided to accompany us.
Now I came back to Leh, Mheraj (correspondent Adventures) has already contacted the store that can sell shoes for the children and teachers in the school Pibiting. He has already made the order. He also ordered the socks, there was some indecision on the color, then showed me a sock with a light brown color is very hot, and he said it should be the exact color, the one used by Buddhists. As soon as I think we should be able to see the shoes, told me that the people of his staff will help you take off your shoes by boxes and tying together the laces of each pair, so that they can then put into sacks and loading them on the jeep. A part of the party that will bring Monica to Zanskar few days before us and some of the posts on our jeep on 13. If all goes well the 11 days we should be able to meet Monica. Until next
